/forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gifThe perch that is riveted to the frame on the passenger side front of my blazer is bent. It is the piece that the front spring shackle bolts to . I called up some local yards but nobody has anything /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif. Does anyone out there have a parts truck that this piece could be salvaged off of?

LMC Truck sells them new individually. Check out their web site by typing in their name. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

will one off a 72 work? if so i have one if its in good shape ill check tonight.

I dont know if it is the same or not. Ive never seen one go bad before. I think many moons ago my truck was in an accident with the previous owner and it was overlooked and not repaired /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif. It is bent over about 1 inch to the side ,not a major problem just have a small amount on shackle misalignment.but it is annoying me like crazy /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gifeverytime i see it.Does anyone know if it is the same?

i have it and its straight. it does have a few blowtorch marks but nothing bad. i got impatient. the nut came off but the bolt wouldnt. let me know what you find out and if you need it.

OH... that is the front one..riveted to the radiator support. im looking for the frame mounted one that the front spring rear shackle bolts to on the passenger side under the doors.

I'll look tomorrow i have 78 that still has springs on it /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

ok ill check that tonight. let me make sure i got this. rear spring front hangar.

Sounds like he's looking for the rear hanger for the front spring on the passenger side, right by the starter. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

exactly, front spring ----rear hanger... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

from the inside of the frame where its mounts
base = 5 1/4 (front to back of baseplate)
heigth = 1 3/4 (bottom of frame rail up)
width = 2 3/4 (tube thing the bushing goes in) (i guess the bushing is like 3" long)
bushing = 1 1/2 round (or so)

these arent the most accurate measurements. kind of a pain in the but to measure. and no torch marks. this was before i got pissed that day.
