Which aftermarket front shackle will lift the front the most?

Off Road Designs HD Front Shackle
or
Hill 4-Wheel Drive 1" Lift Extended Front Shackle?

The Hill's shackle will lift the front more, but also requires a shim between the springs and axle to compensate for it's extra length.

Do you know if the Hil Shackles come with the required shim?
and ......... If not, where can I get it?

Thanks for the info,

Thomas.

ORD shackle will lift 1/4"
Hill will lift 1-1/2" (that's what I got anyway)
It dosen't come with a shim but they can sell you a set, I got mine at a local 4x4 shop for about 10. bucks.

Thanks Steve! Thats exactly what I needed to know.

So, if my K5 sits level now with a stock suspension, and I install the ORD 2 1/2" Shackle Flip in the rear, what is the best way to lift the front an equal amount?

A) 2" Lift Springs with ORD's HD Front Shackles
B) 2" Lift Springs with HILL's Extended Front Shackles

I guess the ORD's would be fine, right? Maybe the back would even sit a little higher than the front this way?

........ But it seems HILL's would allow for more clearance and articulation.

Thanks again,

Thomas.
