Has anyone else ground a u shaped channel into their crossmember with their front shaft ? I looked everything over and my front shaft is still fine , just a little play at the slip . It never made a lot of noise until recently . I believe my front springs are finally broken in , and with the discos and the rear lift kit shocks up front I may be drooping too much . Should I put the unused 4 inch front shocks back up front or what ? What about grinding the crossmember for clearance ?

If it doesn't take to much meat out of the crossmember grind it to clearence it. If you have to take alot out reinforce the crossmember by adding some steel in around the area you took out to make it strong again.
