Front Shocks

I'm looking at front shocks online and it asks if I have factory quad front shocks, which I don't so I say no. But, it still lists 2 different front shocks. 1 inner at lower mounting and 1 outer at lower mounting. Which would be the right choice for a non quad shock setup?

Neither: If you are askine which shock out of the quad shock selection to use as a single, neither will be adequet. The quad shocks each have 1/2 the valving as a single shock.

What web-site are you looking at?

i was looking online at orielly auto parts and advance auto parts. they both show outer and inner, but I think I figured it out. I went to Monroe's website and the shock they list for non quad suspension is the same part number as the outer shock listed at orielly and advance. So it looks like I need the outer shock.
