I have a 78 Blazer. Has anyone installed the replacement front spring hangers, from Hogback Fab?

I haven't used Hogback's but it looks like a good kit. Get 1.5" dia, hd shackles larger bolts.
Go for it.

Following this after talking to you on the phone, then looking at the website for this part.
The description and design are making me curious.

Why do you have to drill holes if you’re busting out rivets and replacing it?
Also same procedure for 52s the old way? Flipping brackets side to side?

I have a set of front spring hangers from Off Road Design (ORD).

full

Offroad Design makes them for 67-72, and 81-87, but not for 73-80.

Those look like DIY4X brackets.
OOOPS! Your correct...they are DIY4X. I have half ORD stuff on my truck, and half DIY4X stuff. I sometimes forget which is which.

My truck is a 1991 V series truck, but still technically a 81 to 87 truck.

Is there a link these hangars?

and these are hangers; a hangar is what you park an airplane in

I think they were drilling holes for conversion from 2by
That would seem acceptable. And considering that the listing starts out with the K truck applications, it should fit them, I would "assume ".
@500$k5 has more to the story, and hopefully has some solution in progress by now.
I need a set for my Jimmy, which is on a '79 frame. I bought ORD springs, so the B52 brackets from DIY4X won't work unless I change bushings.

I was confused when looked up the hogback parts and looked at the fush upgrades

We have one now, that fits too! We had this prototype set floating around here for a couple of years:

but when we tried to fit it up a couple months back, we got this:

And this:

So we started over and now we have one that will not only bolt onto the frame without major swiss cheese work, but also fits with a stock bumper brace.

First welded steel article of the '70's C truck 2-4wd conversion brackets were bolted to a 76 C-30 crew this morning and passed the test so they'll be available soon too. In this case, "bolt to" means the existing holes lined up. C-trucks basically just have the body mount holes to work with so we added a few to that one for sure.

Those factory front spring hangers are a weak point on square bodies. I replaced mine because the rivets holding the two pieces together where all loose.
