I have a set of 62" leafs and wondering if I can use them on the front or the rear of my 89 jimmy. The springs are 2.5" wide. Thanks in advance
Aaron

62 are waaaay to long for front use. the stock front springs are 46 or 47. 52s are almost as long as you could go with out moving the shackle or extending the frame forward. i would use them for the rear. i believe you need to move the front hanger forward and the rear back to get the center pin centered in the wheel well.

Actually to properly locate 52s requires moving the frnt spring hanger, some opt to redo the frame with a new crossmember.

Thanks for the quick reply I think I will use these springs for a new dog crap slinger since they will not fit my junk.
