I have my 1970 chevy, and I have an opertunity to purchase 12 inch super lift springs for a good deal. I know the springs are diffrent lenghts, my question is there somthing I can do to get these under my truck?
rework your spring hangers. the longer springs could probably give you a better shackle angle. before i got into the entire trail riding/rockcrawlin' craze, i was going to build my '72 into a 17" lifted, 44" tire wearing monster and even bought 73+ 12" springs for the front and had planned on reworking the hangers to make them fit. if we can mount 52" springs on the front, then i'm sure the couple more inches of spring length can also be done. shouldn't be too much work either way.
