it has blocks in the bac but is starting to sag in the front, i appreciate you links, just what i was looking for

tons of info in the garage section for lift info.

welcome and good luck. dont be afraid to ask . . . .we cool here. :waytogo:

Looks to me like the bottom leaf is aftermarket. Is it thicker then the top two? What shape is the end of the leaf (another pic please)?

From what I can see of your pic, there doesn't appear to be any lift in the front. I would like to see more pictures of both front and rear, since those appear to be stock springs which came from the factory flat or slightly reverse arced. It is possible they are lift springs, but it seems unlikely with no arc to them. Also take a shot from the sides on flat ground to so we can see any rake.

awesome guys i will snap some photos in a bit, im going to do a shackle flip in the rear and im just trying to do my home work if yall can kinda lead me along id really appreciate it

any more help on this i really hate to lift the back and not have everything i need for the front

I can't be sure, my lift springs aren't in place, but my 2" springs are still slightly negative. The 4" I have should end up being slightly positive arc. The way the truck sits it has to be lifted in the front, so I would have to believe those are lift springs. From the factory the stock springs were negative on most Blazers.

Maybe they put a 2" lift on a saggy reared blazer so they used 4" in blocks instead of 2? I know my rear sits about 2" lower than the front.

Looks like 2" lift springs. I have the factory high GVWR 3-leaf springs on mine and they are a negative arch like Keitha said.

I'm thinking 2" lift springs and a 4" block. Maybe they were planning on lifting the front further or just liked the ass high look. I've seen that more than once.

Im with everyone else so far. Im thinking re arched front springs that have settled and the 4" rear blocks were to make up for the saggy rear initially. So, previously, the front springs were re-arched to say 3" lift, and sense the rear was already sagging, they put 4" blocks in the rear to make it sit level.

To add to that, as far as lifting the truck more and the shackle flip, Are you planning on the shackle flip plus leaving the blocks in? because that will get you around 7-8" lift total. There fore, you would need 6-8" lift front springs, longer shocks, and some type of steering correction. If you are removing the rear blocks and then doing the shackle flip, that will leave you with about 4" lift. Meaning you would need 4" front lift springs, shocks, steering correction.

i am planning on removing the blocks and doing a shackle flip also at the same time i want to put the long springs from a 88 chevy pickup and lift springs in the front it has rancho 9000 shocks already, do yall thing i will need new ones? and what kind of steering correction? i wanna do my homework so i dont have it on jacks for ever or any other b.s.
