I've got a 4" skyjacker lift, and running 33"tires. I would prefer to lower the front than raise the rear. Is it somewhat simple to remove the first "helper" spring from the springpack (front axle)? Any drawbacks, advantages?
well, with the skyjacker it may improve the ride (stiff springs) to remove the helper spring.
All you have to do it pull the spring off and either cut the center pin or unscrew it (if its that type) pull out the helper spring, use some C-clamps to squeeze the pack back together and put in a new center pin. pretty easy all in all. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
