front springs

will the front springs from a 1968-72 3/4ton chevy fit a 1989 k5 jimmy.

Nope they are a different length and the pin is in a different location. You could prolly make them fit but if you are going to go through the trouble to do that just put 52s or 56s on.

well it looks like i better get another set of u bolts and use my 89's 4"front springs and sell these 4" 68-72 springs. thanks for the response.

Check out the seller "scratch and dent" on Ebay. That's Superlift's way of selling off overstock, discontinued, etc. stuff. I just picked up a brand new set of front U-bolts with nylock nuts for $8.

i have installed 4" lift springs off a 84 blazer on my 72 jimmy with no problems.
