Ok guys I searched and either im the only one with this issue or no one wants to ask lmao. I bought a 95 tahoe with a sky manufacturing SAS kit installed and I wanted to swap the front springs for some tuff country ez rides. I was looking at the truck and the springs are mounted with the larger bushing(9/16 bolt) bolted to the shackle and the smaller bushing mounted to the front crossmember. The holes on the shackles and the front bracket are the correct sizes to due this, it just looks weird to me because the larger bushing is usually mounted to the front on 73-87 chevys. The springs are standard 73-87 chevy 47 inchers so the distance from the center pin to the center of the mounting bolt is the same on both sides of the spring. Do I need to find a bushing for the smaller end of the springs that takes a 9/16 bolt so I can flip them around or should I just run them like they are?

You could always drill out the crossmember mount to accept the 9/16 and call ORD and pick up a set of their grease able 9/16 bushings and bolts for tuff country springs. That way it would be 9/6's all the way around :D
Otherwise I don't really see an issue of running the spring "backwards" :dunno:

I would get the bushings to use 9/16 bolts all the way around. Ive broke several of the factory 7/16s bolts and 1 1/2" bolt in the shackle. Now when I swap springs or change bushings I just get bushings to use 9/16 bolts all the way around.

Ill also put in another vote for ord's greasable bushings and bolts
