I just got the death woble on the way home from a quick run to the corner store. Now I figure it is time to go through the front end since I haven't touched it since I got it. So can ya'll help me make a list of what all I need to replace?

might help if you specified which vehicle? and drive-train. D44? 10bolt? D60?

Check all of the steering and suspension - you probably have something loose. Also do a search for "panhard" - a member on here made me a panhard setup that cured my truck of bump steer completely.

Kinda a hijack: I was thinking to replace the tie rod w/ ORDs HD tie rod,2tie rod ends and drag link ft an rear.It would be like $240 If I get the ends from LMC.But I think Rockauto was cheaper.
Could`nt you try this first IF your stuff worn out? Mine likes to wonder around pretty good on the ruts in the road.

Jack up the front end, put it on stands. Leave the wheels straight ahead.

Grab the tire top and bottom, wiggle back-n-forth. If it moves, tear into the hubs to check the wheel bearings, and look at the ball joints.

If not, go through the drag link and tie rod ends and check for play. If they move at all when you pull on them by hand, they're prolly dead. IIRC nice new ones have no play by hand.

Could also be completely whacked alignment, i.e. serious toe-out, IIRC, but you presumably would have noticed it before.

Well I have noticed that the drivers front tire is wearing a lot on the outside edge. I will try what you said and see where it leads me. Thanks.

Outside edge ... huh, sounds like misalignment. Or the bottom ball joint has died completely and so your tire is cambered down... :doah: On a solid axle, that's bad new no matter what =))
