just got my tires rotated and balanced and now the front end ifs.... now going down the road my front tires start to wobble side to side. what makes my truck do this? what can i do to fix it?

i have a similar problem with my rig (99 yukon) not sure what it could be. on one of the motorcoaches i drove this summer had a death wobble on it that puzzled the mechanics and annoyed the drivers (it shook the entire thing) eventually, pat (our mechanic) took it apart and found the spindle was bent, prolly from a hard hit on the road. it was bent by .03 in, just enough not to be noticed earlier. replaced spindle, problem gone. you might check into that. i know that right now i dont have the money to buy those parts to fix it, maybe when the cv joints crap out, then ill just put a solid axle under it. hope this helps

?

this summer i am putting a dana 60 under it. but i found out its a ball joint. might wanna get your ball joints fixed. mine were 32.65 each.

:eek1::eek1::eek1: yeah, im just a poor college boy and wont be driving it a whole lot between now and summer, maybe ill do it then. maybe that would explain the bump it occaisionally makes in sharp turns. as for axles, im thinking of rebuilding the dana 44 under the front of my old k5 to put on the yukon. my aim is to make it more capable without being gawdy. y'know, 33's, minimal lift, skid plates galore... make it a sleeper.
