Front Tow Hooks

I took the air dam off today, and I was wondering if some tow hooks like these http://www.carparts.com/parts/newsearch2.asp?OrderIdentifier=ID102757235127000202&reflink=0-0-0-0-0&sourceid=2&parttypeid=2111&itemid=1346&autoidsearch=YES could be bolted to the bottom of the frame right in front of the spring hanger. Thanks.

Well they could but you need to get some with the retaining clips that last about 1/2 a good trail ride before the clips get bent all to heck and are useless. Get some factory hooks from a junk yard. they are a big J rated 10,000lb also and the tow strap won't fall off them and nothing to get bent. I picked up a set for $10 from the junk yard.

I am going to get some with retaining clips. I don't know of any junkyards near me, so that rules out that. Thanks for the help.
