I wanted to take a front disc off to replace the plate that is behind it. I took the Warn hub out and was supriced that I could srew both those funny looking nuts out. The ones keeping the bearing in you know! They were not tightend at all. But I can't see anything, or took out anything that is suppose to keep them from comming loose. Can anybody help me on this? How is it suppose to be. I have 2 Hayes manuals but both only look at the 2wd front bearings. Very weird.

They are not supposed to be that loose. IIRC they should be torqued inner to 50lbs thenn backed off 90* then torqued to 35lbs. I think that is close. Somebodyy else will post up /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

There's a lock ring/washer thingy that's supposed to be between the two wheel bearing nuts.
