Front wheel well interchange

I have a '74 K5 and thought it was standard interchange 73-87 for a well, but evidently that's not the case. I picked up a used one from something early 80's I think for $20, but the very front where it bolts is way different and some of the other perimeter holes also don't line up. Is it lke 73-78 or something?

I believe you need 80 or earlier. I am sure someone smarter than me will chime in. I know the crappy ones from LMC are one style only. And do not fit anything well.
