Not sure what you are trying to do. Wheel bearings are really the only thing in there besides the spindle bearing that you can grease.

No,I need a pic of just the hub the part the wheel bolts to.Where you use the weird socket ,you know?Like how do I get the spring out/off?

The locking hub spring? It should just come out with the hub body.

There are two snap rings that hold the hub body in. One small one on the end of the stub shaft and a large one just inside the lip of the bearing hub. Use a small pick to pop it out then the hub body will slide out exposing the spindle nuts (weird socket nuts) behind the two spindle nuts and lock ring is the outer wheel bearing.

Mine looks like the bottom one.Once I take the first snap ring off and remove the drive flange (cuts inside and out to catch)then theres the spring...which doesnt come out...Nothing online showes MY axle there all ford, jeep and dodge it seems..

Hmmm not sure what that spring would be caught on.

Here is a drive flange IPB.

wow great help guys!:wink1:

it was really nice of DAFEY to have thanked everyone for going out of their way....

Ok Mtblazer89 got mine, but I guess that not where my noise is comming from.
Its weird though,it starts and ges worse as it warms up....Like after 1 1/2 - 2 miles.
Maybe my body mounts are making the noise(s) I ordered aa set from ORD They`ll be here this week or next I hope.

Diffrent at diffrent times, sometimes its a poping metalic sound, others its a metel on metal sound..right now im throwing cheap/free fixes at it.(it NEEDS the body mounts) So I was going to try the wheel bearings. And I cant find anything else to tighten on the steering and/or front suspension to check.

Any evidence of the bearing spinning on the spindle? Heat marks or scoring?

No it looked good once got to the lock nut.All brand new looking ya know?

The body mounts came today, $12 over the price for a (UPS/Fed-ex ) ride isnt bad at all.

How will I know what goes where? Just match them up...?I have`nt looked yet , seen if theres directions or even sprayed it either..

double check your hubs to make sure they aren't getting hot or anything. Just one more thing to check, how are the driveline u joints and the axle joints?

I need to find out where to last 2 body mounts are...Put in shims on the rear,Later on replace the rear leaf bushings,(from who?)and a lot of other stuff 33 years of neglect have left..

And check if they get hot.
