We haven't had any rain since I purchased this truck a couple of months ago. In the past couple of days we've had about 2 in of rain and I noticed yesterday when I moved the truck that water was flowing from beneath the dash between the air AC heater core box and the right side where the air vent and A pillar are located. More specifically it seemed to be coming from the right side, and in front of the fan. The water only started to flow after I move the truck which suggests me that it was collecting somewhere behind the dashboard.

I'm guessing there's going to be a windshield seal leak unless anybody has a different suggestion.

It very well maybe the windshield rubber. !st I would inspect the firewall side of the heater/ac box, be sure all the bolts are in and tight and the caulking is in good shape.
Also on the later models there may be a path from hood hinges, factory there was a rubber seal that channeled water away from the slot. After 34 years the seals don't do that job well.

Thanks... Gonna check it out soon.

Hoping it's easy fix

I would start at the windshield seal but also look closely at the seam sealer inside the cowl for signs of rust.
