Was curious if this would work, or just dumb. Q:With the front leaf springs..what if the shackles at rear of spring became solid mount, and shackles put at front of spring....kinda like the scouts. It would give for more lift, better axle articulation[sp?]......no?

Think it's been discussed ... I fear the axle movement (longitudinal) and with the stock push-pull steering you'd be in a world of hurt. With crossover you might be okay, but it still seems like you'd get more axle movement with the compressor/expansion of the springs.

It would ride like ****. As the spring compresses it would move the axle forward which would be against the direction of travel. This would give a jarring effect and the pitching that is experienced with heeps.
