Frustrated

Anyone want to admit to getting frustrated when working on your project?

By many standards I am doing elementary stuff and getting frustraded doing it. I still can't get the frame bushings off the burb and now I have ruined the bushing by hitting it on opposite side with the grinder trying to grind the rives down. I was just going to torchem out like I plan on doing with the back ones but now my county has a burn ban on. Dangit!

Oh well, as it sets, I am waiting on getting some tie bolts for the front and rear springs, change my frame bushings and waiting for the burn ban to lift which might be several months.

Kids are ready to camp and I am ready to start fishing. I guess we will wait.

Sorry for the rant.
 
A better question is who doesn't get frustrated:confused::confused:

Then ask what drugs they are taking:D:D

Every project, repair or job I do usually has at least one pissy item. Something breaks, strips, gets mangled or the fave you can't find the replacement part for that.

The list is endless but thankfully there is beer:bow::bow::haha:
 
I think if everyone will be honset youll find most do at some point.What has always kinda helped me was quit on it for a few days,dont look at it,dont even think about it(if you can).

Coming back from a break alot of times will give you a new perspective on how to solve problems.

I'm wierd in the sence that I bitch about working on it and bitch when I cant.
 
Yup, I am pretty much always frustrated with my build.

Either I don't have enough money or time (or energy/motivation) to get stuff done, or the stuff I do finally get done needs to come back apart for some durn reason or another.

But hey, it builds character right? And (i hope too) it will all be worth it someday. :D
 
Alot of times I just have to remind myself that these trucks are 30 years old. But I feel your pain, it is the stuff you say "Ill knock that out real quick" and your there forever just frustrated. Put on ord shackles up front, no prob, ooops there is a bolt going the wrong way hitting the exhaust, and the sawzall blade is dull. 90 minute project turns into 4 hours and a sore back. gotta love it.
 
No further than you have to go to fish, you can just hitch it to a mule and drag it to where your going.

I just might do that sometime. Actually, when I get it finished I was going to give you a call and see if you would like to go to brushy creek sometime. I have 3 or 4 family members with 4x4s ready to play.

1 stock Grand Cheerokee Jeep with 29" TSLs
a 99 Dodge setting on 33s
a 97 tahoe setting on 35s
and a forrunner or something that says he can't get stuck unless he gets stupid. He was drunk when he said it and stays stupid so that should be fun especially because it is his wife's DD.:D
 
The only frustrating aspect is the coin...

The coin is one thing but I am not going to lie and say I like the work. Some things are ok but in general the work is no fun for me. I still want to do most of it though because it is MY rig.
 
Proper equipment and experience make the work way easier...
