Up for sale is my 1984 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 longbed.
engine: 305 V8 with 4bbl qjet
transmission: 700R4 automatic
transfer case: NP208
radiator: 4core HD with twin 12" electric fans
other cooling: XL transmission cooler / Medium size oil cooler / 180 degree thermostat
Dual fuel tanks 20gal each ~ average cost to fill up both = $57 on 87'
battery: Optima Red Top 900 cc amps
frontaxle: corp 10 bolt
rearaxle: 14 bolt ff
6" ProComp Lift Kit (springs in front, blocks in rear)
35" Mickey Thompson M/T's (like brand new)
(2) brand new catalytic convertors
body is light metallic blue/silver two tone ~ usual rust in common areas
glass is in good shape, all lights work
brand new dual air horns
brand new XSTANG BLACKMAX tonneau cover
truck bed is 90% rust free inside
rear sliding window opens/shuts and locks fine.
Power Door Locks and Windows
High beams on headlights have been rewired so all 4 lights come on using HIGH
Now for the bad stuff:
missing drivers side fuel door, rust around both rear wheel wells, both front fenderwells are rusted out, rear bumper is bent slightly, passenger side door is dented in and rusted out at the bottom and around door handle, drivers side rocker panel is rusted out, drivers side fuel tank needs new tank straps, dash board is cracked and broken from dryrotting, truck has a few oil leaks, but nothing major ( gaskets need replaced.)
The truck runs fine, shifts excellent, 4WD works fine, I just don't have the time or money to keep working on this and trying to plan a wedding/honeymoon. Seemed like a good idea at the time, damn impulse buys.
