91K5
1/2 ton status
Time for my '91 K5 to go, it needs some time and money of which I have neither right now.
Basically a bone stock truck, fuel injected 350 engine, TH700 trans, NP241, 10 bolts. It has about 225,000 miles (odometer quit at 189,000). Silverado package, AC, and external oil cooler. 4x4 works fine. Needs the drivers window swapped, I have the glass just haven't had time to replace it. The driver rear glass is cracked, but hasn't leaked and is not loose. Windshield has a small crack and normal pitting. Rear tires have about 10k miles and are good, fronts need replaced. I have a set of 4 used 31" BFG AT's with 15k miles if the buyer is interested.
Drivetrain: The engine is mechanically sound, but is running rich, I believe it is either a gasket or sensor, but I am not sure. Transmission is good, no slippage or leaks, and transfer case is good as well. Rear axle was rebuilt a few years ago with new bearings and seals.
Body: Has the typical rust in spots. Both rockers are rusty, a spot on the passenger door on the lower rear corner, and a spot on the cab behind the top of the driver door (see pics). Rear fenders have some boils in the paint around the wheel well, but no holes. Passenger front inner fender has a small spot starting.
Interior: Decent for the age and mileage, seats have no tears. Carpet has some stains, but is all there. Has the usual cracks in the dash pad.
