hey there all,
i used to be a regular here a few years back and the site still looks great. i thought i would try here first before listing locally or on ebay...

Location is Columbus, Ohio.

1986 K5 Jimmy 4x4
*305, runs fine but would run great after a simple tune up, 134K miles
*Auto tranny, stock, shifts fine
*New All Terrian 32x11.5" Tires with less than 200 miles on them and a new 31" spare.
*Tuffy Secruity Console (i love this thing!)
*Kayline fastrack soft-top, black with clear windows. Hardtop is on right now.
*Interior has been stripped, was going to do a roll in liner but never got to it.
*Very Little Rust! there were some repairs made inside at the typical spots where the front seatbelts mount. rockers, doors, fenders, and tailgate are nearly rust free! i stayed on top of the rust with Por-15 as i saw it.
* Rear power window works from inside switch, key switch needs replaced.
* Power windows converted to manual, those slow ass power windows SUCKED!
* Lots of work done over the years, valve guide seals replaced, complete brake system replaced, tranny/xfer case serviced regularly as well as axles, etc. I have most of the work orders too.
*Salvage Title, may pass inspection fine or use it for restore/parts, i was in a minor fender-bender about 2 years ago and the insurance company screwed me, long story...

I hate to get rid of her but i can't drive it much with my jobs now and would love to see someone get some use out of it as i would end up letting it rot away most likely.

is it the salvage title that is giving no interest here? looks like i'm gonna sell the console, soft top, new tires and wheels and make nearly as much as i'm asking for the whole rig and then send the rest to the scrap yard. damn shame but it's taking up needed space....

Console: $100

Soft Top : $250

Tires and Wheels: $550

i'm gonna give it another week or so then the parts come off, any interest at all?
 
yeah i dunno why those loaded so damn big! sorry for the bandwidth hogging... :doah:

i'm gonna give it just a little bit longer. i would much rather sell as a whole than part it out. there is really nothing big wrong with the truck i just need the space back that it's taking up....

to those that put dibs on certain parts, those will stand if i part it out and i will contact you then.
 
to tell the truth, it's still for sale, but i just can't stomach cutting her up! i have only been putting about 50% effort into selling it anyway. everything still works fine and it drives really well, i was just hoping someone who knows how fun these things are would take it and give her a good home! i guess no one wants to so it will remain for sale. funny too, i really thought this was gonna be the outlet for it, i used to spend a lot of time here, but i've gotten way more responses/questions from other forums... :confused:
