1/2 ton status
Hey folks,
I have for sale a 1971 Toyota land cruiser mostly stock. The body is about average paint is decent top is v/good. It has the orig F & 3 speed on the column and vac actuated 4wd. It's almost road ready it needs some tie rod ends and some TLC. If you have a garage it would easily be road ready by spring. It has a later rollbar and the stock long seats with an offset kit. New points/cond. Plugs.
It runs and drives the yard 4wd works great. I have a ton of extra parts with it. A 4 speed , tcase, drive shafts and bell. Extra factory wheels, new soft top and doors, extra F/R bumpers, door gaskets ect... I just picked up a front disc axle from a 77. I have a like new set of drums and cylinders along with some new rubber hoses. The jump seats are nice and fronts are very nice. still in the box SOR rear heater. Heater, wiper, lights all work.
The bad:
Well there are a few bubbles on the rockers and the DS inner rocker is weak. A PO replaced the cargo floor with flat plate pretty stiff and the rear channel is a 2” tube. Also the rear quarters have been replaced. The cab forward area is pretty nice no rust up front. It will need a new mid channel but the areas around it are solid and so is the tool box. I would just cut out the old one and run a straight channel across . The rear bumper is an angle channel. I have a replacement bumper and spring plates. It will also need a new clutch master this one leaks but works. The gauges all worked when I got the rig but when I hooked up the speedo they stopped??
I'm asking $3500 I’m pretty firm w/all the parts included, I would consider any trades on any early convertible, 50's pickup, 60's caddy/lincoln driver or near driver? A nice pre 75 blazer or pre 72 burban
I’m in Pa 18707, I can get lots of pics just ask for what you need. I have pics on some are mine some are PO’s
If it doesn’t sell by spring. I’m sure It’ll be on the road.
Thanks,
bob
