Yep, me with the technical terms.

Had this on my ex's first Suzuki 4x4 before she rolled it. Worked fine and I actually had it out of the vehicle when she rolled it.:doah:
It's pretty universal. For technical details visit their site here:

Mine is the version 3 so it isn't the current version but most of the version 4 changes are cosmetic and not functional.
You basically wire it to power, ground it, and then have the speedo signal in and speedo signal out wires. The signal change is done with the dip switches on the front.

Includes the instructions.

$50 shipped?

Are you willing to go much lower? I might be able to use it, but I'm not sure if it would work or not. I wouldn't want to waste much money trying to save money, you know what I mean?

I'm just sitting here with it. What do you want to do with it?

I just put a T56 6-speed in my '86 Camaro that uses a speedo cable with the VSS behind the cluster. I would need to buy that $320 "Cable-X" doohickey to make it all work properly again. That yellow box thing you have may let me get the VSS working again, but I'm not sure how I would tell if it was set up properly if I still don't know how fast I'm going. It would also be nice to convert to electric speedo, but use the stock speedo face. Not sure that's really doable though.

Well all this does is change the speedo signal.

IF it can work then it'd simply be a matter of you having a GPS, a working speedo, and math. Drive the car, figure out what it indicates at x speed, do the math to figure out the % correction, consult the instructions to configure the dip switches to the correct position for that, and whalla, corrected speedo.
