a stock 6.2 has 130 hp and 235 ft-lbs of torque I believe...I may be a little off with the torque.

Depends on the model of the engine. A light duty engine does have 130 hp and 235 ftlbs of torque. Heavy duty engines have something like 150 hp and 270 ftlbs of torque.

All I can tell you is that a J code intake manifold has no EGR valve. Someone could put a J code intake on a C code engine, so you need more info to tell them apart...

will a code J intake manifold mount directly onto the code c? and what exactly is the egr???

EGR allows exhaust to be recirculated back into the engine, for better fuel economy(supposedly) and emissions.
I just unhooked my EGR, plugged the vaccum line and be the end of it. I haven't noticed any more or less mileage, but I have noticed that there is alot less smoke coming out the back end!!
