I've got a jeep running a 350 with TBI, its got a fuel cell in the back, external cylindrical fuel pump on the frame, the fuel cell is mounted so that the pickup is mounted on the side(drivers side). Anyway when I get on a sideways incline or any steep incline for that matter, it starts to sputter then cut off. Then I have to get on level ground unhook the line going into the fuel pump, so gravity can feed it back, then remove the output line from the pump then prime it until it shoots out, hook the line back up, then it fires. I guess my question is how do the pickups in the fuel cell work, I can look in the top of the fuel cell and see foam, I guess to keep the fuel from sloshing, how do you guys have the pickup set in your fuel cells. Thanks
