Well Ive dropped the gas tank to put on my shackle flip and I was thinking about instead of putting it back on I might just switch to a fuel cell instead, what is involved with this? What all parts and things would I need to do it? Thanks for any help.

It's really simple, dude. The fuel cell usually comes with fittings for supply, return and vent. It's super simple for a carb'd truck, you just run hoses to mate up new cell to old steel lines. You didn't say whether you were putting it in stock location or inside rig or what. Also, if you're not tying vent hose into carbon canister or something, it should be routed like on race trucks. They essentially route it in a big loop so that fuel won't pour out no matter what side the truck is laying on. When shopping for a cell, figure out allowable dimensions for where you want to put it, and make sure it has all the fittings you need to connect it (mostly return line if you need it). It gets more difficult if you are trying to get the filler neck to line back up with the stock location, but there are several options for a neck extension and they can be clocked in different directions on the cell. Hope this helps in your decisions.:D

What he said. Bare in mind that if you put it inside your truck you expose yourself to whatever vapors make their way out of the cell or that spill. Also you lose all that space back there. There was a company that made oversized fuel tanks for chevys that wear constructed of 1/8 plate on sides and top, and then 1/4 inch on the bottom. A friend in colorado has one that carries 35 gallons and is its own skid plate. Oh and it fits in the stock location.
