who's done this?pics? what size is it?
i want to put a fuel cell in my v3500 truck and ditch the saddle tanks.
i want to shave the gas door and just keep smooth bedsides(left tank doesn't work anyway)
or do you think an old blazer tank might work?the kind with filler that goes out the back with the flip down license plate.

blazer tank 26 or 31 gal and the burb 40 gal.

thay all fit and easy to make fit. i made a few crossmembers few years ago out of 2.5x2.5 angle iron to make the front one and replace the stock rear.

i used a 31 gal blazer tank. real easy job.

i saw a couple of threads like that but i really dont want doors in the bed
and i have a 40 gallon burb tank,i would reallllllly like a central fueling point

when i get around to finishing mine i will build a extension to the back corner of the box on the inside. it will be at the corner post were the tailgate closes. will drop the tailgate to fill the tank filler inside the box. like the blazer side fill but inside not out the body . you get the idea ?
