Fuel Cell?

I found a good deal on a 12 gallon fuel cell, than has never been used. But is 12 gallons going to be big enough? The furthest I ever drive my truck is to the sand dunes, about 45 minutes away. Anywhere else we go I trailer my truck. I would rather get a 20 gallon, but I was wondering if I could get by with 12.

Uuuuu what vehicle, engine, drivetrain, gearing, up hill, down hill, in the snow, on paved roads? <--hey that rhymes!

My point is that it depends on where you drive and how many mpg you get. Currently I get like 6mpg compared to say somone with the correct gearing and such might get 10-12mpg with the same truck otherwise. Give us some specs.
