so i fell out of the loop for a little while but i decided to get my truck goin again so i started gathering all the stuff i needed so i got a free fuel cell from this race car shop right by my work and i need to know what i need to get it goin. its just a bare cell with like 2, 3/4'' holes in the top of it and of course the big fill hole. but i was just wondering what i needed as far as a sending unit and fuel gauge and fittings to make it work. its a carb truck btw. all help will be greatly appreciated thanks

alot of fuel cells are made for gm sending unit, thats not what you are calling the large fill hole is it? and in 4x4 it will slosh bad if no foam in it!

I visited local parts dealer today, and he had a 16 gal Jaz on display. I was going to order one, but he needs the fuel gauge sending unit ohms, so he can order one that works. Is 0-90 correct? And does that foam work with diesel?

I made order for the Jazz fuel cell. I took it with 0-90 ohm sender. I played with google a while, and I'm pretty sure it's 0-90. But if it isn't, I just get a Autometer fuel level gauge (I was going to change gauges anyways).

And the foam, well, I'll see how it works with diesel...

The foam in my fuel cell works as it should with diesel
