I'm putting a four inch lift and deciding what size tires to put on the truck. Probably gonna be BFG A/Ts unless someone here can reccomend something cheaper for the same quality. Anyways, I was wondering what economy you guys get after a lift and bigger tires. I'm looking to get 35s. I have the 6.2 right now, so I get about 20 mpg around town and am hoping for it to be 17 or better after the lift. What kind of drops do you guys see?

After going to 35s I dropped from 13 to 9mpg. But, driving fifty nets me 15mpg. Depends on if getting where you're going a few minutes later really bothers you that much.
Lowering your gears to match the increase in tire will help. But you still have extra weight and resistance to contend with.

What vehicle are you planning on lifting? I have a 1972 K5 that went from 12-14 with 35's and a 2" lift to about 7-8 MPG with an 8" lift and 38's. I also have a 2003 Silverado that with 6000 miles stock 18-20 Mpg to a 6" lift and 315's dropped to 14Mpg at best. (pulling a trailer it drops to ~9 Mpg).
