Is there a special tool made for removing this fuel filter cover?

I think last time I just used one of those adjustable oil filter wrenches but can't seem to find mine at the moment. Would be easier if I had the correct tool though.

I guess it's vintage, from google...

The Fram HPG1 is a vintage-style, frame-mounted canister fuel filter designed for high-performance engines, capable of handling up to 90 gallons per hour. It features a 5-micron filter, 3/8" NPT female threads, and includes a mounting bracket. It is not compatible with alcohol-based fuels.

Once upon a time, those were fairly popular and stocked by most parts stores. I had one on my old K10.
