I've been searching for the last two days on how to check the injector spray pattern. I've come up with taking it to a shop, what the cleaning does, what the injector spray is supposed to look like but I can not find what to check for the spray pattern.

Can someone provide some assistance? I've searched all over here and google but no luck :/

Thanks.

All you need to do is look at the injectors while the truck is running and you can see how they are spraying. If you have a timing light that makes it even easier to see the pattern. Basically you want a nice conical pattern with no drips. Both the injectors should have the same spray pattern as well.

Not to sound stupid or anything but where exactly are the fuel injectors for me to check :[ :o. I don't have a timing light so I'm going to have to check it by hand.

under the air cleaner, pull the top off, and there are two plugs there, one for each injector.
