fuel injector ?

ok today when my buddy was over with his blazer helping me work on my blazer he was just doing a couple things to his and noticed a loud clicking type noise that sounds like its coming from the injectors...any ideas?....he doesnt remember it doing it before and i dont believe mine does it or at least not that loud

They can be quite loud, it's the pintle hammering up and down to control fuel flow.

I have a 95 K2500 with TBI and I had a 84 corvette with Cross fire injection....BOTH rigs made that loud clicking sound while idling. It is just especially noticeable with the air cleaner off and standing around the engine compartment. It is just the sound of the fuel metering, no problem.
