Did you calibrate the new sender to be empty when emtpty?
That's because it's to low! The fuel is slushing away from pickup.... I hate to state the obvious but put some gas in it...

It never did it, until I replaced the pump and sending unit
I have plenty of gas in the tank.
You didn't break the baffle when you were doing the sender did you? Pretty hard to do I would think, but I wasn't there...

No I was careful. Didn't break it.
If the truck shuts off in turns, it's obviously something to do with the fuel moving around.
You said 1/8 of a tank, so if you were to fill it up, it would take roughly 26.25 gallons. Before we get all bent around the axle on crazy fixes, you are SURE that there is really an 1/8 of a tank in there?
I'm not calling you dumb or anything, but you messed with the sender and wiring, and something could have happened to affect gauge reading vs. actual fuel level. Need to absolutely rule that out, as the next step would be dropping the tank to see what is physically wrong in it.

yes when I look in the tank. there is plenty of fuel in there.
I assume the fuel level is not over the top of the pump?
Have you checked the in-tank wires closely?
I honestly can think of no reason that it would stall from lack of fuel, only around corners, and at 1/8 tank of gas, except if the pickup is coming uncovered.
The pump draws from the very bottom, so as long as fuel covers that, it's going to draw fuel. If there was a split in the hose above the pump, normally the truck runs terrible all the time.
Is it possible this is not a fuel issue? It would seem very unlikely it would only happen under 1/8 tank of gas if it was not fuel related, but I'm grasping at straws. I hope others have ideas.

How exactly do you look into a tank and know there is plenty of fuel?
Put five more gallons in and see what happens...

Through my access panel, I have cutout, with sending unit removed. and a "flashlight on a stick"
bendable flashlight thingy.
eh I guess ill just have to live with it. keep it above 1/4 lol.
