fuel line help

I'm doing a 5.3 conversion on my blazer and wondering how to hook up the fuel lines. Anybody have any ideas?

Are you running the fuel injection that was on the 5.3?

Yeah I'm changing it out complete with harness and computer. How do I hook up the fuel rail to my stock fuel line.

Are you using the fuel injection system from the 5.3?

The 5.3 fuel injection system is MPFI which requires a different (and much higher pressure) pump than any K5 ever had.

Basically you need a fuel pump from a 5.3, some way to get it into the K5 fuel tank (or get a tank from a newer truck) and new fuel lines all the way up (higher pressure means lines that are rated for it, your current lines are not rated for the high pressure of multi port fuel injection).

get your self a TBI tank and put a pump from a cammaro in it and then run new hardline its not to hard to do

I got the fuel pump off the vehicle I got the engine from just didn't know about the fuel lines.

How much pressure is the fuel pump? Also is it necessary to have both primary O2 sensors for engine to run properly?
