fuel line Questions

I need to find out what size fittings to buy for my jimmy. I am replacing the fuel line fron the sending unit to the filter with Russell fittings and line but i dont know the dif. what size fittings i need. can some one please help me?

Are you trying to mate it up to the stock stuff? Knowing nothing of russell fittings, you'll need something that will mate up with the stock GM Saginaw fittings. Earl's makes adapters I know, but they are somewhat pricey.

You can also buy the right flaring tool now, but that is expensive.

ya it is all stock. i just replaced the tank, filter, sending unit, and in the process of undoing the fuel line from the sending unit the line broke. I looked all over for one and the line is a DEALER only item. and sence i am trying to sell the truck it is cheeper for my to do it this way $70 as to $150. I dont know if i need a -6an fitting or what. I dont know what any of that an fitting thing mean.
