Im not much of a mechanic, I had my 350 rebuilt in may and am just now about to get it fired up. Im stuck, my fuel return line for the TBI got smashed I think when I pulled the engine, it is half pre-bent steel line and half stainless braided line. I cant find it in a parts store, any suggestions? or should I just go to a salavage yard? Thanks

Typically no problems with salvage yard on these, IF you can find one that hasn't been cut when/if the engine was pulled. Will want to replace the o-rings.

You could also cut the bad section out and double flare the ends and then either install a new piece of tubing with a couple unions or slightly flare the line enough to hold a piece of fuel hose with a clamp.

If you really get desperate. I have both forward lines I bought (just in case) for my 90. But you would have to be desperate. Out of five trucks only one doesn't have TBI. You may still be able to get it from the dealer.

Ok where to start? I have checked LMC all they have is full length fuel lines, I called them and must have got a new guy cause he didnt find anything. I was trying to find a hydrolic line shop to see if they could crimp on a new stainless line, so far have been unsuccessful around englewood. So I hahd a friend pick up some lines from a chevy scrapyard while I was at work just to find out he got lines for a big block ( i think) cause they were too long, guess to do it right do it yourself. If you were willing to part with those lines it might help alot. thanks everyone for your response. :D
