about half in between from the gas tank and engine on the inside of the frame there's about 4 to 6 inches of rubber fuel line. there's two sizes , anyone know what those are? would like to get some on the way home from work.

THere are actually 3 different sizes under there. Atleast on my 1984 K5. I think there are either 3 or 4 lines and each use diffrent size, I dont remember off hand what size, maybe check LMC catelog, they may list it.

Also, be prepared, when I cut the main fuel line, I had a ton of fuel pouring out. I ended up with about a gallon on me, was not a pretty sight. So have a big ass pan there for when you cut it.

Also on the 84, there are the same short lines on top of the tank. Not sure about your truck.

Also. do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and get Marine Grade Fuel hose. its suppose to be Ethanol resistant.

yea , getting gas all over sucks. my truck only has 2 lines on the frame rail , might be an emmissions thing. thanks for the tip on what grade of line to get.

just check lmc , the 3rd line is a vapor line. must be tucked up under something on my truck cause just looking up under the truck all you see are the two fuel lines. any way the sizes are id 1/4 , 5/16 , and 3/8 .

Good deal.. Yea it was 3 lines, I couldnt remember. and I didnt realize they were all different sizing til I cut the main fuel line and the one I had didnt fit. it got ugly really quick but luckily I had some reg. fuel line of the right size in my cargo box. I never moved so fast in my life. lol. atleast you dont have to learn that lesson like I did. lol.

return, vent, and supply

you may not have the return line as that started with the middle year blazers

The return line is the smallest. The supply is the largest. The vent is or course....

Do you have federal or cali emissions? My guess is cali since I think the Federal only has two lines.

just got done doing this. my truck only has 2 lines. went pretty well to , only spilled maybe a table spoon of gas. i guess since i had everything in place including a catch pan karma gave me a break.

Good job, last time I changed out my inline fuel filter, it ended up siphoning on it's own and started dumping whatever was in the tank. :doah: About a gallon ended up on the ground before I realized what was going on. :doah::doah:

Yea that was what happened to me, only that gallon ended up on me..was not pretty, ended up with "Chemical" burn on my right side from the gas.

Anyways. good on you OP. atleast you had the precautions in place. you learned a lesson without having to learn it the hard way , like some of us. lol :doah:
