Today i've done short of a mpg and distance test on my 1983 Suburban Dually with a 454 Caburated V8 Turbo400 , along with longtube headers and dual exhaust. This was through stop and go traffic with 6 main stops here in New Orleans, Louisiana . it was 47 minute trip with 19.5 miles.

I drove under 35 miles and hour in the 35 miles and hour and 40 mph speed zones

I stopped at the fuel station at Petro Save on "E" and put in 10 bucks of fuel to do the test while doing errands at the same time, time of fuel up was 2:05PM 10/10/18 and back to the local library where im at now, on the same 10 bucks of fuel from earlier since 2:05pm. I know it's not alot of evidence but here, and i'll update later today:

I like to top off the tank, zero the trip odo or record the mileage.
Drive some.
Re top the tank.
Divide gallons it took into miles travelled.
=MPG

Safer and easier than running to empty.

No, i was just guessing.
How many gallons and how many miles did you go?
59 minutes 27.7 miles which i had made the last main stop which was 8 main stops total which the last two was Autozone to picking a relative up downtown before going to the fuel station at around 750 something pm. That from the start of 2:05pm to about 750pm on 10 bucks of fuel that was put in at 2:05 pm from dead empty until 59 minutes 27.7 miles.

I had to stop at the fuel station because i had to go across the river to bring a relative to the doctor to the West Bank that is across from Downtown New Orleans, however i still had the fuel gauge needle just above or right on top of the "E" line before the fill-up at the fuel station

Running 30-35 mph will not get you average mileage.
You probably will get 6-8 mpg.
Once you drive some 55-65 mph then you should get in the 10 mpg

I'm not really that concerned about mpg, it would be like a bonus if it got at least 11 or 10 mpg city, also this one has longtube headers and dual exaust and a turbo 400. I'll post another video of the vehicle itself in general and a ride around the parking lot soon
