I put on the pump from the Chevelle 454 and everything is great. I drove it up to 10,500 ft. in the mountains without a problem (although the carb was running a bit too rich). It ran good and strong, with little or no drops in pressure. Physically the pump looks identical. Any ideas what is so different about it?
