First i want to say that i haven't ponied-up and become a "regular" member so i can't post in the engine section. i will become a "regular" member---i've just been very busy.

Anyways, i was wondering where is the best place to put the sending unit for the fuel pressure gauge in a carbed setup?

i've heard that it's best to have it as close as possible to the carb. If so, can you explain why?

The carb will most likely be a quadrajet. And i have A/N and braided hose so it's easy to add an adapter.

Are you using a pressure regulator? Most have a pressure port to use.
