Fuel Priming system, easy DIY

Well a while back i had asked if anybody knew if running an outboard boat motors fuel primer ball inline with our diesel's fuel line would work. Well i did it and sure enough... when my fuel lift pump was broken, i was still able to prime the fuel all the way up to the injectors and run the truck for about 15 minutes before it died again. here's a picture of my setup.

just below the ball pump, i put an anti-siphon barb to keep the fuel from falling all the way back down to the tank...( because i have a leak in my IP) this works great guys. so give it a shot.​

I tried that about 6 months ago after a filter change ....it didnt work.

i've been running this setup for almost a month now and still no problems, so i don't know what you did different dallas, but thats too bad your setup didn't work how you planned.
