Fuel pump and lines sizes with fuel cell???

So when I got this fuel cell the first thing I noticed was the size of the fittings. My factory lines are 3/8". These look to be 1/2" coming out of the cell. Should I go with an electric pump and just run 1/2" line to the carb or get reducers down to 3/8"??
