fuel pump location

Yup, and it kind of a pain dropping the tank. Make sure you can get most of the fuel out first.
 
thanks for the info and good advise on cutting the hole for the future im asking because im ditching the TBI and going with a truck avenger carb and a motor with a lot more power than the stock one around 300-340 HP and doug thorly headers and im going to have to put a fuel pressure regulater

And being in California you either have someone to smog it for you, it's a dedicated offroad rig, or you plan on swapping engines every two years to pass emissions testing?
