i was looking at the specs on napa's website for stock tbi pump.

tbi truck pump 12 psi and 27 gph rating.

the mid 80's tune port pump listing was 51 psi and 19 gph rating.

96 1ton vortec truck pump listing was 61 psi and 32.5 gph rating.

all these look like same plug and body shape/style.

i am looking for the part # to be sure i get the right one for the bigger pump to let me tune up the system a bit and be ready for th bigger motor i got for it.

my question is the less gph rating going to be a problem ?

Those numbers may be off... but I have used the TPI pump as a replacement in a TBI 440 Mopar Built engine and it had plenty of pressure and flow. Will defiantly need adjustable regulator.

Yes the pumps look identical, even the external in line TBI/TPI pump.

AC delco or Carter I have never had issues with.

there all about the same price. so if you had to pick a high pressure what would it be ?

around 300 hp sbc will be in this thing.

I bought my pump from Brian at www.TBIchips.com and haven't had any issues with it thus far. My engine is 400hp and 530tq and i'm running 18psi fuel pressure.

I bought a pump from him as well. No issues with it. At one point in time he sold two different ones, I purchased the higher flow pump.

This is the one he sells now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/EP381-60psi...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item2eac8ba9f0
