I recently attended a estate auction of a mechanic who died.

Bought some tools and stuff and at the End they started putting stuff in boxes and selling it together.

One box had a fluid sucker which I wanted so not caring what else was in the box i bid 5 bucks and won it.

When I got home I looked in the box and saw a brand new fuel pump.

It says max PSI 95.

Now I was thinking of using this on my 86 k5 that's got a 700 Holley carb on it.

Will this pump work and I'm assuming im gonna need to regulate the flow so what PSI?

Carbs only use 6-7psi..That's for something fuel injected
not just fuel injected but probably multi port injection.

throttle boddy injection wouldn't even use that much pressure. I think it would be more work then what its worth to get that fuel pump to work.

carbs dont even need 6-7 more like 3-5 on average or you over power the needle seat and flood it.

that pump sounds way to big for your needs. and stock mech pump will be just fine on your build :thumb:
