First off I resurected the Jimmy this weekend from its death bed. After a break in, the column was a mess and the truck wouldnt run. After figuring out how the ignition switch worked (from this life saving board!:o ) i started the truck with a pair of pliers. Anywho i wired a switch to the fuel pump, just a normal rocker $2 switch from O-Reilly. Used spade connectors and the heat shrink to make connections, works perfect. Only thing nervous about is four wires that all come together from oil pressure sensor and fuel pump relay i have them tied together and have electrical tape around it. This bad idea? Dont want to start a fire. Any kinda connector that would solve that?
