hey there , i was just wondering if anyone here is doing any mods in there 350 engines so it consumes less fuel .
although it is cheap in here (0.603$ per Gallon) , but still i have to make many stops to refill my car when travelling around , a friend suggested to install an a bigger fuel tank or an extra one , but i'm under the impression that something wrong with my blazer which makes it consumes a huge amount of fuel (one stop every 200 kilometres, with 120 KM average speed ) ,, so what do you think guys , is that normal for blazer ? ???

That mileage isn't very good. 200 kilometers = 124 miles and 120 kilometers = 75 mph. I can go 240ish miles on 29 gallons of fuel which is only 8.3 mpg. How many gallons of fuel do you put into the rig?

Also, i would KILL to only pay $.60/gallon for fuel. Right now fuel here is $3.09 (just filled up today).

i knew that there is something wrong , around 25 - 26 Gallons every 124 miles ..i use my other car as i go 620 miles of commuting and traveling every week and there is now way i can do it with my blazer by this rate ..

BTW, if i am gonna pay $3.09, its probably not gonna get out of my garage , thats a lot.

swap on tbi injection.

and vac gauge and try and keep it as high as posible to keep better fuel mileage.

the lower the vac driving the less mileage.
